Bigger, better, faster.
Like a lot of small businesses, these are the expectations we work with in 2015, and looking ahead this expectation isn't going away. But while we have become more savvy in our business practices, sign manufacturing, and processes, we are finding that our customers are less knowledgeable about their signage needs. I would go so far as to say customers nowadays not only seem to be less knowledgeable about business signs, but they are also less prepared and in a much greater hurry! So, to help our customers, we do our best to listen, ask and inform. Having been in the sign business for over 20 years, we can offer our customers a lot of expertise and resources. We have a some words of wisdom we’d like to impart to our customers, and potential customers, in an effort to make the process more seamless and enjoyable.
Plan ahead.
The more time you allocate to prepare for an event, the higher the odds are that you will succeed. Why not get that banner ordered and ready for the next time an unexpected news crew happens to be filming across the street? Or, why not inspect your tradeshow storage containers to make sure the content is still in good shape before heading to the airport?
Double check the details...and the proof.
We do our best to meet every request, but the reality is success is a shared responsibility. It is our responsibility to make sure our banners meet your needs, and it’s our pleasure when they exceed your expectations – but we need our customers to give us throughly proofed files. The devil is in the details, and there can be quite a few details!
However a file is delivered, whether its by email or even over your smart phone, we can’t emphasize enough how important the PROOF is. The proof is our INTERPRETATION of your needs, so it’s important that you make double sure we got the details correct! We make a great product, but we’re not superhuman (at least not all the time). We need your help making sure the recipe is correct, and that starts with a close look at the PROOF. If you approve something that’s wrong, we will make something that’s wrong. The result is a sign that is twice as expensive and way behind schedule. NOT FUN for any of us! We want to succeed as much as you do. So here’s to Bigger Better Faster (and Proofing the Proof!) in 2015!
